Being part of the Steel Bridge Team offers a valuable learning experience that can benefit members in both their academic and professional careers. Members gain hands-on experience in designing steel structures, applying principles of statics, mechanics, and materials science. Members develop project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating team efforts. All members also can go to regionals each spring and compete in the Steel Bridge Competition.
