Academic Mentoring is a youth mentoring program where Federal Work-Study eligible K-State students are placed in schools and organizations in Manhattan. Academic Mentors promote positive youth development with their mentees by being present and engaged with them on a continuing basis.
Due to the nature of our program, Academic Mentors must be eligible for Federal Work-Study. If a student is unsure if they are eligible, we are more than happy to check for them!
