Are you looking to become a leader on campus? Come join the Student Governing Association Intern Program!
Student Governing Association (SGA) is a group of passionate, hardworking campus leaders who are dedicated to serving the students of Kansas State University. Our work includes representing the student voice to campus administration, allocating over $14 million for student-based services, leading the student judicial process, and creating policies and initiatives to serve the student body.
The SGA Intern Program focuses on welcoming new students to our organization, and providing an opportunity to learn about the ins and outs of Student Government at K-State. This program is the best way for first-year students and those who have never been in SGA to get involved in the organization. It is a two-part program, with the first phase focusing on how SGA works, its structures, and responsibilities, while the second phase of the program is about self-development, honing your leadership skills, and identifying campus issues you are passionate about.
The first meeting of the Student Governing Association Intern Program is on Thursday, September 8th at 5:30 PM in Wildcat Chambers in the K-State Student Union. This program is open to any student at K-State regardless of their major or academic classification.
