Mission
The Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) of Kansas State University is a group committed to the ideals of equality, acceptance, tolerance, and diversity. We strive to provide a unique experience and place of acceptance to all persons of interest, whether you’re questioning your identity, in the process of coming out, out and proud, or a straight ally. The Sexuality and Gender Alliance welcomes all individuals that support those that belong to the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer community. We endeavor to educate and reach out to the K-State and Manhattan community to promote and gain support for non-discrimination organizations and businesses. Members of the Sexuality and Gender Alliance work together to fight all forms of discrimination, harassment, and violence. We strive to create a safe environment at Kansas State University by educating students, faculty, administrators, law officials, and citizens of Manhattan about homophobia, transphobia, gender identity, sexual orientation, and the history of different LGBT groups and movements.

Membership Benefits
The Sexuality and Gender Alliance provides our members with community and a safe space for the LGBTQ+ community and cisgender, straight allies. We also provide intercultural learning about other communities within the queer community and our allies. Another benefit we provide is professional development. In addition to all of this, SAGA provides campus-wide programming like the K-State Drag Show and Ally Cats.
