Mission
The Graduate Student Council (GSC) is the student organization representing all graduate students at Kansas State University. The GSC offers opportunities for graduate student professional development, networking, and leadership and provides funding to support graduate student travel to present their research and scholarly work at professional meetings or conferences. Council leaders provide a voice for the graduate student body on university committees and serve as a connector between departmental graduate student organizations and the Graduate School.

Membership Benefits
Serving in a leadership role in the Graduate Student Council provides graduate students with leadership and professional development experience beyond the training received in their academic program. Getting involved in the GSC also provides excellent networking opportunities. The GSC brings together graduate students from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds, and helps graduate students gain a better understanding of how they fit into the entire university structure and are affected by and can impact university operations and policy.
