Week of Welcome, or WOW, is a semi-annual university-wide event series designed to foster students’ sense of belonging, build community, and connect students to involvement opportunities and campus resources. University colleges, departments, and recognized student organizations are invited to plan and host events during Week of Welcome, August 19-25, 2024.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will develop a sense of belonging by establishing connections with peers, university faculty/staff, and community representatives.
- Students will appreciate the differences and similarities across the campus community.
- Students will explore opportunities for on-campus involvement and engagement.
- Students will understand how to access and utilize on-campus resources.
- Students will understand university traditions and values
