About Us

PARROT is a student-led organization dedicated to advancing the knowledge, care, and training of parrots. This club emphasizes education on the unique needs of parrot species—needs that are often overlooked or misunderstood in mainstream resources and breeding practices. Members will learn about proper husbandry, enrichment, and nutrition, while also focusing on training techniques that promote healthy communication, mutual trust, and understanding of parrot body language. By building a community of informed parrot enthusiasts, PARROT aims to improve the welfare of parrots both in captivity and in the broader public sphere through advocacy and outreach.
