Curious about ham radio and connecting with people around the world?

K-State's Amateur Radio Club, W0QQQ, will set up radios and antennas at Tuttle Creek river pond at 5 PM on Sunday, the 5th. This is part of a fun activity called Parks on the Air (POTA), where amateur radio operators make contacts from parks and public spaces.

Come meet students and community members who enjoy talking on the radio, learning about emergency communications, and sharing their passion for technology. You’ll get to see how radios work, watch contacts being made with people across the globe, and ask questions about this exciting hobby.

No prior experience is needed—everyone is welcome!
