- Avoid using abbreviations on the form when making a request.
- Spell out your organization's name, don't use acronyms!
- All requests should be for University activities only and must have a university sponsor.
- Accuracy is critical. Mistakes on your form can lead to a delay in getting your space reserved or your request approved.
- All requests should have at least one week notice but the more the better (as long as it's in the current semester).
- Rooms/events are scheduled first come/first serve.
- Food requires special approval.
- Animals require special approval.
- Not everything will be approved. A lot of variables come into play, if something is denited and departments feel it's in error, re-submit with more details/explanations or reach out directly.
