K-State will present the 43rd annual All-University Open House from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 9th. Open House is one of K-State's largest attractions of the year. It's an opportunity for us to inform the public about the university, maintain contact with alumni and recruit new students. This year's theme is “Game On! K-State Gold Edition”Displays will be located throughout the K-State Student Union to maximize space and minimize congestion. We invite campus student organizations, campus partners and academic colleges to have a display in the Union. If you are interested in securing space in the Union, please fill out the request form here.
Please note: If you are a student organization in the College of Arts and Sciences, you should not complete this form. Please connect with your department on how to get involved with Open House. If you are a student organization under another academic college, please check with your college prior to submitting form as you may have space in your home building(s).
The deadline to register for a display table is Friday, March 11th. It is important that you complete your reservation as soon as possible. Space is limited, and we will prioritize reservations in the order that they are received.
If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out! Check out www.k-state.edu/openhouse for updates on all Open House events and we hope to see your registration soon!

Eugene Lee Yang, one of the world’s most culturally influential YouTube creators will host a comedic Q & A at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 4 in the K-State Student Union Forum Hall.
Eugene Lee Yang is a producer, actor, director, writer, and one of today's most recognizable queer Asian-American performers. His digital work over the past seven years as a viral video producer has been viewed billions of times. In early 2018 he and the comedy quartet The Try Guys launched their own independent production company, amassing millions of followers with projects such as a New York Times bestselling book, an international live tour, and an upcoming Food Network series. Yang is currently in development for his own television, film, and additional writing projects.
According to an interview, Yang says that most of his videos aim at negating the negativity by displaying the beauty of all the diversity that the world has to offer.
The College of Business is partnering with organizations and colleges across campus to celebrate International Women's Day on Tuesday, March 8 from 10:30 to 1:30 PM in the Business Building Atrium. This year's IWD global theme is #BreakTheBias. The K-State event will offer educational information and activities, as well as opportunities to celebrate women across campus (and beyond), a photo booth, food, and networking. All students, staff, and faculty members are welcome to participate. Attached to this email is a graphic that can be shared to create awareness for this year’s event.
For this year’s IWD celebration, we are also excited to support and to be supported by local women-owned businesses. The DoughBro and The Grill To Go food trucks will be parked in the parking lot to the south of the Business Building, and Nothing Bundt Cakes will be served inside!
International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. Significant activity is witnessed worldwide as groups come together to celebrate women's achievements or rally for women's equality.
