Hello Student Organization Leaders,
The K-State Career Center is looking for clubs and organizations who are interested in paid opportunities to volunteer for the All-University Career Fair and/or become a Talent Ambassador representative for your student organization. Both are fantastic opportunities to participate in as a way to make money for your club/organization.Your organization can:
- sign up to volunteer at the All-University Career Fair
- sign up for the Talent Ambassadors Program
- sign up for both
Both opportunities will be paid ($100-$500) and will require participation commitments from your membership.
VOLUNTEERS FOR ALL-UNIVERSITY CAREER FAIR (AUCF)
Volunteer up to 50 hours for the All-University Career Fair on Tuesday, September 20, Wednesday, September 21 and Thursday, September 22 for a chance to earn up to $500! For every 10 hours worked, the Career Center will pay $100 to go toward your club/organization. Volunteer positions that are available include: General Set-Up, Employee Assistance, Employer Registration, Freight, Lot Attendant, Hospitality, and Student Registration.
TALENT AMBASSADOR PROGRAM (TAP)
Help employers tap into K-State talent through your network of friends and other K-State students. Identify a Talent Ambassador representative who will post employer opportunities to social media and promote recruitment activities through their networks. This program will run from September 6 through December 16, and Talent Ambassadors will be asked to post at least ten promotions. An OrgCentral checklist will be provided to you by the Career Center. Once 10 promotions are completed, your organization will receive a $100 donation. For each additional promotion, your organization will earn chances in an end-of-semester drawing for a $500 donation!
