About Us

Sexuality and Gender Alliance (SAGA) at Kansas State University is a group committed to the ideals of equality, acceptance, tolerance, and diversity. We strive to provide a unique experience and place of acceptance to all persons of interest, whether you’re questioning your identity, in the process of coming out, out and proud, or an ally. SAGA welcomes all individuals that support the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and its members. We endeavor to educate and reach out to the K-State and Manhattan community to promote and gain support for non-discrimination organizations and businesses. Members of SAGA work together to fight all forms of discrimination, harassment, and violence. We strive to create a safe environment at K-State by educating students, faculty, administrators, law officials, and citizens of Manhattan about homophobia, transphobia, gender identity, sexual orientation, and the history of different 2SLGBTQIA+ groups and movements.
