A single negative voice in a sea of positive feedback on social media can feel like it's coming from a giant, blaring bullhorn. In this panel discussion, hear from student leaders and athletes in highly visible roles across campus who have experienced negative chatter and feedback on social media and how they managed these challenging interactions.

Featuring:
- Vedant Kulkarni, SGA Representative, International Students Welcome Ambassador, student journalist
- Kaylie McLaughlin, K-State alum, former Editor-in-Chief of The Collegian, 2020 Kansas Collegiate Journalist of the Year.
- Seth Porter, K-State Football Wide Receiver
- Shane Porter, K-State Football Wide Receiver with over 1.2million TikTok fans

Panel moderated by Dr. Heather Suzanne Woods, scholar and researcher of digital rhetoric, assistant professor and Director of Graduate Studies in Communication Studies at Kansas State University.

Additional panelists will provide insight into being the recipient of negative commentary on social media and how to practice agency and resiliency as a social media user:
