The Community Safety Talks series aims to promote a safe environment for everyone. This workshop will help you understand the fundamental principles of preparedness, from creating emergency kits and communication plans to locating local shelter areas. Whether you’re facing a short-term disruption or a long-term crisis, being prepared gives you and your loved ones peace of mind and the ability to respond effectively when it matters most.

This event is open to anyone, including students, staff and faculty at K-State and members of the surrounding community. Professional development credit will be offered to all faculty and staff who attend the event.
