The Kansas State University Military Affiliated Resource Center announces its 3rd annual program dedicated to honoring the service and academic achievements of our graduating student veterans, military retirees, active duty, reserve, and National Guard students. We welcome our spring and summer 2026 undergraduate and graduate students, with their families and friends, as well as the wider K-State community to celebrate their academic achievements at our beautiful K-State Gardens. Students will receive a military honor cord that is approved to wear at commencement. Highlights of the event include faculty, staff, and student speakers, a graduation honor cord ceremony, and military challenge coin presentation. A reception under the Elm Tree follows the ceremony and hosts time for photo opportunities, congratulatory cake, local music, and family-oriented activities. Utilizing the beautiful garden space pays tribute to the land grant university, while celebrating our newest graduating class.
