Welcome back from Spring break, Pre-Veterinary Society Members! We hope you all enjoyed your week off and had the chance to sit back and relax. It is time to get back into the swing of things, though, and finish these final months strong!
This week, we hope to keep the fun in the air with a hands-on lab! On Thursday, March 26th, join us as we welcome back Dr. Kvasnica from Wildcat Vet Services (and a special 4-legged guest!) to learn the ins and outs of physical exams and restraint. We will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of a physical exam, why it is an important starting point for every patient, how to perform one, and what you, as a veterinarian, should be looking for and assessing.
Since doing is just as important as watching, make sure to bring a stuffed animal to follow along! We only have a limited supply of stuffed animals for members to use. If you do not have a stuffed animal, we would be more than happy to help find you a small group to work with.
As a reminder, officer applications for the 2026-2027 school year are now open! They will remain open until March 29th at 11:59 pm. For more information, please visit the Officer Application here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfpz5AKBhnAFQR5d--YpYsIiMx4rZWN5x9m7iEq4LrS_yAjGg/viewform?usp=dialog
We look forward to seeing you soon!
