There are plenty of one-off events happening at K-State that can support your leadership development and connect you to future experiences and resources. You can explore events in OrgCentral and filter by event tags for leadership-specific events.
Explore other academic and professional organizations
If you’re looking for a more consistent source of leadership opportunities and events, I recommend checking out the organizations related to your academic major or future career. You can browse the full list of registered student organizations in OrgCentral and search by keyword for your degree program, college, or related groups.
Read the K-State Today newsletter
K-State strives to include students in big projects and decision-making about services and events that are important to you. The K-State Today daily email newsletter is the main place to keep an eye out for calls for student volunteers or representatives to join big committees and help plan for the future success of K-State. These are great opportunities to get hands-on leadership experience and build a network of connections to K-State faculty, staff, and administration.
