"Yalda Night" holds significant cultural importance in Iran dating back to 502 BC, marking the beginning of the winter. Annually celebrated, this occasion is symbolized by the red color representing the vibrant dawn and the essence of life. Specially crafted fruits, nuts, dried fruits, and pastries are dedicated to this night, offering a taste of Iran's culinary legacy and its connection to the festival.
This event is a stepping stone toward a more inclusive, empathetic society where every individual's unique identity is celebrated. Our event harnesses the power of "Yalda Night" to fuel cross-cultural learning experiences and advance education on diversity, inclusion, and discrimination.
In our upcoming event, we promise to provide an unforgettable experience for you by featuring a live music performance “Leili and Majnoon” by Maliheh Moradi and Ehsan Matoori to give you a taste of Iranian traditional music and dance.
