Powercat Financial Peer Financial Counselor – Job Opportunity
If you are a student studying in a financial program such as personal financial planning, business, finance, accounting, economics, agricultural business/economics or a helping program like social work or counseling looking for an exciting on-campus internship, then apply online by Feb. 17 at http://www.k-state.edu/powercatfinancial/about/opportunities.html to become a Peer Financial Counselor. This is a paid service-learning internship where students provide individual financial counseling and financial workshop to fellow students after extensive training. This position requires approximately 4-8 hours of commitment a week and summer work options may be available.
If you are not ready to be a peer financial counselor, but want to get involved and help students with their financial well-being, you can apply for either of these volunteer opportunities:
1. Powercat Financial Student Advisory Board member;
2. Residential Financial Specialist volunteer.
