KSU Fall Blood Drive - Host Groups Needed!

We’re mixing it up a little this spring to increase blood donations at the KSU Blood Drive & to help your club purchase items you need, or want!!

Your club can help save lives by hosting one of the KSU Spring Blood Drives!  In return, the Red Cross will purchase items to support the club, such as supplies, equipment, T-shirts, travel expenses or any item(s) of the club’s choice. BEFORE the end of the semester.  Your club can earn a $10 credit for each pint collected at their drive. The Red Cross will purchase the items directly from the third-party vendor of the club’s choice. The blood drive must collect a minimum of 30 pints to qualify.

Here's how it works.  The KSU Drive will be held September 23^rd - 26^th.  We have blood drives at the Union, Hale Library & Kramer.  Your group will help recruit lifesaving blood donors for your assigned drive.  You’ll reach out to friends, classmates, professors and the rest of your K-State family to ensure we have a full list of lifesaving blood donors.  Your group will cover the volunteer responsibilities the day of the drive, and help remind those signed up to come in and give.  The drive MUST collect 30 pints of blood.  Once you’ve done that, your group will earn $300 towards an item of your choice, which we will purchase for you before the end of the semester.  Anything collected over 30 pints is an additional $10 per pint earned (example, 35 pints of blood collected = $350 towards an item(s) of your choice!!

Wednesday, 25th^th – Kramer Hall (1:00 – 7:00 p.m.)

Thursday, March 28^th – Kramer Hall (1:00 – 7:00 p.m.)
