Delfest, named after the iconic actor, comedian, improviser, Manhattan native and Kansas State University alumnus Del Close, is On the Spot Improv's annual collegiate improv comedy festival. K-State will enter two professional teams, along with performances from Ohio State University, Ball State University, the University of Missouri, the University of Kansas and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The event will feature free improv shows and a public workshop open to all.
The free improv performances will be 8-10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 at the Purple Masque Theatre and 7-10 p.m. Saturday, March 1 in Forum Hall, ground floor, K-State Student Union. The free public workshop will be available 3:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1 in Forum Hall.
