Recognition Process Updates and Timelines

The RSO Recognition Process for the 2024 - 2025 academic year will be closing on March 14th. If your organization has not finished the process by that point,your group will lose access to OrgCentral and other benefits provided by your recognition status. You should have recieved an email from Jacob Porter last Friday if your group has not finished the process.

The Recognition Process for the 2025 - 2026 academic year will open sometime in Early April (be on the lookout for more information in the coming weeks)! Regardless of your recognition status on March 14th, you will need to re-recognize with the university for the next academic year.

Your recognition status from the 2024 - 2025 academic year will remain in effect until the end of the semester. So if you are recognized now, your recognition will end at the end of the semester (unless you re-recognize with the university for 2025 - 2026).

To emphasize:

• 24-25 recognition application process will close on March 14th.
• 25-26 recogntion application process will open sometime in Early April.
• Your 24-25 recognition status will remain in effect until the end of the semester.
