As the Sri Lankan Students' Association (SLSA) at Kansas State University, we are planning to organize a fundraising event to support our cultural, community, and outreach activities. For this campaign, we intend to raise funds by preparing and selling two popular Sri Lankan food items: Kottu (a widely beloved street food made with chopped flatbread, vegetables, and spices) and fried chicken, seasoned in the traditional Sri Lankan style.

All food preparation will be carried out by the members of SLSA at approved student housing locations, following appropriate food safety guidelines. Ingredients will be sourced in advance, and cooking will be done under hygienic conditions with assigned responsibilities for preparation, packaging, and delivery.

To ensure convenience and community engagement, we are planning to deliver the food directly to the doorsteps of customers on the day of the event. Delivery will be handled by student volunteers, and we aim to reach not only the K-State community but also Sri Lankan families and friends living in nearby areas.

This event is not only a means to generate funds but also an opportunity to introduce South Asian culture and cuisine to the broader university community in a meaningful and engaging way.
Food Provided (Menu Options (Only $13 per box): - Egg Kottu + Fried Chicken + Gravy - Vegetable Kottu + Fried Mushroom + Gravy)
