About Us

- Promote the American Beef Industry, animal agriculture, and the principles of free trade and entrepreneurship. - Encourage discussions on issues pertinent to the Kansas beef industry, challenges facing the beef industry and to educate students on the importance of being knowledgeable of the aforementioned issues. - Serve as a liaison between beef producers, business interests, affiliated trade organizations, and Kansas State University students. - Interact, as an active voice for beef industry interests, with legislators in Topeka and Washington, D.C. - Promote the American Beef Industry, by working with state and national Cattlemen’s organizations, Collegiate Cattlemen’s programs, and other interested groups. - Engage and assist with conferences, shows, promotional events, and other activities that are coordinated or sponsored by breed associations or product brands on local, state, and national levels, while not discriminating on the basis of breed, breed association, product brands, ranch affiliations, or business entities. - Increase public awareness of issues concerning the domestic and global beef industry, through the use of interactive meetings, and other means. - Help members to gain the knowledge, as well as develop the leadership, public speaking, and political skills necessary to become the agricultural and beef leaders of tomorrow.
