About Us

The mission of Latinas Unidas Poderosas y Educadas (Latinas United Powerful & Educated), created at Kansas State University, is to bring diverse Latina students from similar backgrounds but different stories on campus together by providing a safe, empowering, and inclusive community. We work collectively on strengthening and developing one another to unfold our full, utmost potential in our intrapersonal ambitions and professional skills by living through our Five Pillars which are Unidad, Nuestra Comunidad, La Salud, Conocimiento de la Cultura y Nuestro Futuro (Unity, Our Community, Health, Cultural Awareness, Our Future).

LUPE works to provide a safe, empowering, and inclusive community. Membership will be available to anyone who wants to join. Members will not be required to pay dues to join the club. Dues are required if you would like to be an active member. As an active member, you can: Vote in officer elections, membership removals, and run for elected positions.
