The Community Safety Talks series aims to promote a safe environment for everyone.

In this session, Thrive Navigators will help students learn to recognize and respond to signs of distress in their peers. Participants also will learn about resources on campus and helpful listening skills. During this session, students can join the Green Bandana Project movement and receive resource cards and a green bandana to tie onto their backpack as a show of solidarity.

The Community Safety Talks series is made possible by the collaboration of K-State’s Libraries, Housing and Dining Services, the Police Department, Powercat Financial, Kansas Mesonet, the Morrison Family Center for Student Well-being and Thrive Navigators.
Food Provided (Coffee will be provided, courtesy of Joyce and Joe's Cornerstone Café.)
