Graduate Student Leading Change Workshop: Leveraging Collective Leadership for Sustainable Development
Registration
Registration is now closed (this event already took place).
Details
Registration is due by Friday, April 11.
This session is presented by Dr. Kerry Priest and Muthoni Kiunga
The Sustainable Development Goals articulated by the United Nations recognize the interconnectedness and interdependence of humanity and our shared planet. With the focus on transforming systems to improve the human condition, there is a need for us to move beyond traditional heroic notions of leadership toward a more collective understanding. In this session, we will explore pathways for collective capacity building that create the conditions for systems change.
Through these sessions, you will build community and be introduced to frameworks designed to help you explore the role that leadership can play in your personal and professional lives. You will develop leadership competencies that will help you work with groups, teams, and communities to create change. We will engage in reflection and explore application of leadership learning to current and future roles.
