Bada Dashain is the biggest and most cherished festival in Nepal. It symbolizes the victory of truth over evil, drawing from Hindu mythology where Goddess Durga defeated the demon Mahishasura. During Dashain, families across the country reunite, elders bless the younger generations with tika and jamara, and communities celebrate with feasts, kite flying, and traditional rituals. It is a time of joy, togetherness, and cultural pride for Nepali people. We want to share the joy of celebrating Dashain with the K-State family and community.
