Promote the existence and welfare of the college and university bands and to cultivate at large a wholesome respect for their activities and achievements. Stimulate leadership both within the Kansas State University Bands and across campus. Foster a relationship with and serve the Kansas State University Bands.
Members experience brotherhood and sisterhood through connections made within Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma. Within these organizations, members are given many opportunities to lead and help their peers in the Kansas State University Bands. Members also gain necessary life skills including, but not limited to, service, planning, management, and leadership.
