STORM is an intercollegiate semi-autonomous robotics competition hosted by the University of Oklahoma. The STORM team works to build a tele-operated robot to complete a set of challenges set forth by the competition designers each year - if you loved competing in VEX Robotics, FTC, or FRC, this is the place for you.

2022-2023

Wildcat Robotics' first attempt at creating an autonomous robot for STORM - this robot primarily used camera color recognition and distance sensors to detect objects and maneuver around them. The team's integration of hardware and software won them 2nd place!

2024-2025

Wildcat Robotics placed second again in the 2024-2025 HailSTORM challenge - this robot's mechanical design was finished just hours before the competition, but the team's hard work paid off!
