Event Policy

Registering an Event in OrgCentral

All student organization events must be registered in OrgCentral.

Please note: To create an event in OrgCentral, you must be listed as an Officer of your student organization's Group. Group officers may also grant special permissions to members to create events. Contact SPI for assistance at StudentInvolvement@k-state.edu

Creating an event in OrgCentral:

  • Visit OrgCentral and use the K-State Login button to sign-in with your K-State eID & password
  • Select "Events" along the top menu bar
  • Click the "Create Event" button near the top of the page
  • Select the student organization hosting the event
  • Complete and submit the event creation and registration form

Notifications & Approvals

  • Group Presidents and Advisors will be sent an email notification after each event is created
  • Depending on the details of your event, your Advisor may be required to formally acknowledge your event in the registration workflow in OrgCentral
    • If required, you Advisor will receive an email from CampusGroups with instructions
